New Computer Repair Drop-Off Location

Pioneer Techs now has a new computer drop-off location. If you want to bring us your computer and save some money. We are setup for flat rates. Call 281-856-8008 to setup a drop-off appointment.

At times a slow computer is not a result of low memory, viruses/spyware, or too many programs running at startup. It can at times be a failing hard drive. This can be a result of either severally damaged hard drives or simply one that is starting to fail. Common known failure signs are strange clicking, clacking, or grinding noises coming from the computer. Also if you randomly get an error before starting windows saying "Unmountable Boot Volume" and after restarting it goes away, it's normally a sign of a failing hard drive.

A Hard Drive's life span varies greatly and can last 3 years, 10 years, or sometimes just 1 month. Always keeping good backups are critical because your trustworthy data storing friend may just give up one day.

Call Pioneer Techs if you are experiencing a slow computer for whatever reason, we also include a hard drive diagnostics with either our on-site hourly service or pickup repair service.

Remote Computer Repairs

Our Remote Repairs save you time and money! As long as your issue is only with software and your computer can still connect to the internet, we can resolve it remotely. Many customers like the convenience in that we can start a session without the travel time.

Our prices are very reasonable. We charge $25 per 30 minute block ($50 per hour). Appointments are setup as an on-site would except we simply provided with a code to enter at our login website and we connect in with your authorization.

About Pioneer Techs

Pioneer Techs is a small business located in Katy, TX and originally opened April 2006. We provide computer services with a concentration on outstanding and one of a kind customer service, skill, and excellence. We stand out from the crowd by our quality. We do not play the "price" game but yet do offer reasonable prices. We prefer to offer quality services and get the job done right.

The Owner of Pioneer Techs 

The owner of Pioneer Techs, Diorge is the primary technician with over 10 years of experience. He was worked with computers since the 1997 era and has been through everything from DOS to Windows to Linux. He is different than most techs in that he doesn't claim to know it all but knows how to find the solution to most of not all problems. He doesn't quite easily and is constantly thinking outside of the box with projects, inventions, and other various parts of the IT Field. Originally from Brazil and raised here in the South, he has developed a natural way with customers that place many at ease. He doesn't speak above or below them and always stays on a friendly tone. The goal of Diorge along with Pioneer Techs is to show by example of How Repairs Should Be ; too many have lost focus on the this.

The Future of Pioneer Techs 

Pioneer Techs has major plans for the future that will come in time. Growing TOO fast is not good. We aim to keep a small business profile so that our customers get the best service. We will never give up the personal service that has left many companies as they grow. We do have some very interesting projects to come that will be for the better of everyone in the area that is serviceable by Pioneer Techs. We have already put in place our Remote Services and Pickup Services. Many of our customers love the convenience of Remote Repairs and the simplification and savings of flat rate pickup repairs (it's become our most accepted service). We cannot discuss all of what we have in store but we wil say that what we have to come and if it works out will change the way computers are repaired. Much like the self-checkout lane, drive-thru lane, and other simple improvements have changed the way we do our daily tasks. All we can say is to stay tuned but many exciting things are planned.

The customers of Pioneer Techs range from Home to Business. Basically though it's very simple - if you love great service, your computer fixed right, and just all around excellence you will most likely become if not are already our customer. We treat each customer as our first and therefore go the extra mile. We always tell everyone to call anytime, although our posted times are 8AM-8PM Everyday. We do answer when you call and if are very busy will always call back.
